April in the Skies – What a Month for AeroSuperBatics!

April has been an exciting month here at AeroSuperBatics, as we welcomed wingwalkers from across the globe and flew at fantastic locations across the UK.

From our home base at Rendcomb to Swansea, Sywell and Sleap, our beautiful Boeing Stearman aircraft have been taking to the skies with brave wingwalkers creating memories they’ll never forget.

Behind the scenes, Libby has been busy practising ahead of the highly anticipated Goodwood Airshow in May, and we cannot wait for the display season ahead!

One of the most inspiring parts of April has been seeing so many people take on a wingwalk challenge to raise money for charity.  Throughout the month, wingwalkers showed incredible courage while supporting a wide range of worthy causes and making a real difference.

We’ve also welcomed some truly amazing people from all walks of life.  One determined lady travelled all the way from North Carolina, spending just 27 hours in the UK simply to complete her wingwalk before heading straight back home again, now that is dedication!

This month we’ve flown wingwalkers from across the world including Russia, the United States, Nicaragua, France, Canada and India.  We celebrated an incredible 80-year-old wingwalker proving adventure has no age limit, and we even witnessed a marriage proposal!

Moments like these remind us why we love what we do.  Every flight has a story, every wingwalker brings their own reason for flying, and every month continues to inspire us.

As we head into the next stage of the season, we’re excited to continue opening our doors to wingwalking across the UK, welcoming even more adventurous flyers, and performing at spectacular airshows throughout the summer ahead.

Here’s to another incredible month in the skies!
