Expanding Our Wingwalking Adventures: Flying from Sleap and Sywell Airfields

This year, we’ve been delighted to expand our thrilling Wingwalking Experiences to two fantastic new venues — Sleap Airfield in Shropshire and Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire — running alongside our operations at our private airfield at RFC Rendcomb, Cirencester. Throughout the season, we’ve welcomed many enthusiastic wingwalkers, with these additional locations giving even more people the chance to experience the exhilaration of wingwalking with AeroSuperBatics across the South West and beyond.

The introduction of these new airfields has also helped to support local charities and fundraisers, providing more convenient locations for participants to take to the skies for good causes and community events.

It’s been an honour for our team to host from both of these historic airfields, each of which holds a special connection to our display pilots and professional wingwalkers. Our legendary formation wingwalking display team has had the privilege of performing at both Sywell and Sleap airshows in recent years, so returning to these venues to run our experience days felt like reuniting with old friends.

At Sywell Aerodrome, we’ve enjoyed working alongside Amy and her dedicated team, who help maintain the site’s vibrant mix of aviation heritage and modern-day flying activity. The Art Deco-style buildings, museum, and friendly atmosphere make Sywell a favourite for pilots and visitors alike.

Meanwhile, at Sleap Airfield, it’s been a joy to collaborate with Bruce and his equally dedicated and trusted team, whose professionalism and hospitality made our operations smooth and enjoyable. With its rich wartime history, welcoming community, and stunning rural surroundings, Sleap has quickly become another firm favourite for our team and our wingwalkers alike.

We’re incredibly proud to bring the magic of wingwalking to new locations and new faces — and the adventure continues! Our 2026 dates are available, and flights are now on sale. We can’t wait to welcome the next wave of brave wingwalkers to the skies.

A huge thank you to everyone at Sywell and Sleap who have supported us and facilitated our operations at both airfields, enabling people to experience the thrill of wingwalking with us.
