John L. Ferguson, Guinness World Record Wingwalker

John L. Ferguson, a 27-year-old social media creator and entertainer from Erin, Ontario, Canada, has always embraced life on his own terms. Diagnosed with achondroplastic dwarfism, John could have tried to fit in with everyone else—or he could leverage his unique perspective to inspire others. Choosing the latter, he has built a global following by spreading positivity, humour, and a message of self-acceptance.

Growing up in a small town gave John a sense of normalcy, allowing him to focus on his passions rather than constantly explaining his appearance. Sports quickly became a key part of his life. He played ice hockey until age 13, when the introduction of hitting made the game physically challenging. Undeterred, John turned to skateboarding and snowboarding, fuelling his love for extreme sports – a passion that has stayed with him ever since.

John’s sporting accomplishments are impressive. He represented Canada at the World Dwarf Games in 2013, 2017, and 2023, competing in football, basketball, floor hockey, and volleyball. Beyond medals and titles, his greatest achievement lies in inspiring fellow people with dwarfism through his athletic feats and online presence.
